Kepler 452b is in the Kepler 452 system. It is 1400 light-years away from Earth. It is sometimes nicknamed "Earth 2" because it is pretty similar to Earth. It has a pretty good chance that is a rocky planet. It is in the "Goldilocks Zone," which is the distance from the sun which liquid water can form. In ways, it is even better than Earth for sustaining life. It has an Earth similarity index, or ESI, of 0.83, 1 being identical to Earth. Even if we find out that it can sustain life, there isn't really a way we can get there. 1400 light-years is already a problem, but we can't travel at the speed of light, further complicating matters.
